唐季禮在《警察故事III超級警察》引進楊紫瓊飾演的中國警察與成龍合作辦案，讓地域（中／港）、性別（男／女）的較勁，首度旗鼓相當。而故事場景延伸至泰國、馬來西亞，既點出跨國犯罪的嚴重，也賦予執法者如片名所示的「超級」形象。唐季禮在高潮戲中沒有保護措施，從直昇機跳降在火車車頂的危險動作，也成了他的代表作。

《警察故事Ⅲ超級警察》為我在導演風格上奠定了一定的基礎，同時也改變了我在影視圈一生的命運。∼唐季禮

A Hong Kong police officer, Chia Chu is sent undercover to China to break up a drug smuggling ring.
