出身「七小福」的洪金寶，最早跟隨韓英傑作武指，後來獨當一面，且編導演兼擅。開創香港靈幻功夫片潮流的《鬼打鬼》，讓一個沒啥功夫、突有大膽的小人物（洪金寶），不但遭人戴綠帽，還欲殺其滅口，可憐他前有官兵攔截，後有殭屍狂追，不但得赤身裸體畫符驅邪，最後還有道士鬥法、神佛上身的熱鬧場面。甘草性、娛樂性十足。

Cheung the Brave’s speciality is sleeping overnight in haunted houses. His wife is having an affair with the town bigwig who then hires a Taoist monk to call up the spirits of corpse to scare Cheung to death. A rival Taoist monk discovers this evil plan and helps Cheung to battle his nemeses.
