貝爾妥總是跟在追女高手吉詠身邊，像個毫無愛情經驗的乖乖牌。他眼見吉詠輕鬆把走蘇珊，又氣他將她視作食之無味、棄之可惜的玩物對待；可是自己，卻又不自覺地用那自命清高的態度同情人家。怎知看似逆來順受的蘇珊，其實根本不是男孩們想像的那樣單純可憐。侯麥用簡單的三角關係，訕笑男性面對愛情時的狂妄自大與後知後覺。

Bertrand joins Guillaume at the Lucon café in the Latin Quarter. Suzanne sits studying at a table nearby. Guillaume strikes up a conversation and then invites her to a party he’s organizing. He undertakes to seduce her just for fun and succeeds. But Bertrand finds Suzanne’s behaviour irritating meanwhile he shyly attempts to get closer to pretty Sophie.
