九個少年、兩個兒童、一群默不作聲的成年人，生活在看似什麼事情都不會發生的小鎮上。靜止的畫框與線條好像壓縮扭曲眾人的生活空間，臨界冰點時又猛不然地迸出古怪的幽默。導演李紅旗運用極具現代主義電影面貌的風格，以宛如布列松的念白方式，配上生冷語調，讓鎮上雪花片片飄進觀眾的心中，凍徹心扉，也拿下盧卡諾最大獎。

A winter of Northern China in Inner Mongolia, 9 adolescents, 2 kids, and a group of indistinct adults live in a tiny town doing nothing. Life is dull. It seems that nothing can happen there. In the end, just as expected, nothing happens.
