剛開始是痴等的男人愛上了正在面試新同事的女醫生。場景一換，同樣的女醫生講著相同的對白，鏡頭卻選擇跟被面談的新醫生離去。每個人都是不同故事的主角：想當DJ的年輕和尚、脫下白袍改去唱歌曲的牙醫、年輕的網球男孩、熱情的醫生女友，阿比查邦謎樣的鏡頭擺盪在同異性戀的模糊地帶，蕩漾出相似實相異的情感波瀾，溫柔而壯闊。

Syndromes and a Century explores how we remember; how our sense of happiness can be triggered by seemingly insignificant things. It is a film in two parts which sometimes echo each other; one set in the past while the other in contemporary time. The two central characters are inspired by the film-maker’s parents, in the years before they became lovers.
