《團圓》講述了一個退伍的國民黨老兵晚年重回上海尋找自己失散多年妻子的故事；他的到來非但沒有帶來驚喜，反而令舊情人現在的家庭產生了震盪。
This film centres on Chinese civil war veteran Liu's return home to visit his elderly one-time love Yu'e after a lengthy break; the couple was separated when Liu, a Nationalist soldier, fled to Taiwan. Their reunion proves somewhat uncomfortable for Yu'e and her family.
